Triple Sports Hall
We were commissioned for the supply and installation of the steel support structure for the pent roof of the hall and of the adjoining rooms.
This is a triple sports hall with adjoining ground floor function rooms. Cloakrooms, changing rooms and showers are on the ground floor. The visitor gallery, weights room and the energy control centre are located on the first floor.
The steel structure consists of welded plate girders with a height of 1200 mm and a flange width of 180 mm and roof beams made of tubes with a diameter of 219 mm. The complete structure at both outer roof beam lines rests on round columns (Ø 106 mm).
As the columns are in front of the posts / bar structure of the façade, there is the impression that the roof would be hovering.
